the Price of Hair Extensions

I turned to hair extensions this summer when I wanted long, beautiful curls for my sister's wedding. I paid $400 for a 23 inch human hair clip in extension with a 12x6 inch base. It gave me hair that fell below shoulder length and was extremely easy to clip in and take out.

I was a bit leery with purchasing such an expensive clip in, but I didn't want to get tracks glued in because I was afraid of burning my scalp. I am very happy with the results and the extensions are really easy to style and wash. I love that I can remove this clip in, store it, and use it for another event instead of having to wear it all the time. It was a great investment.

Try practicing opening and closing the clips before putting a clip in extension in. I also had to get used to carrying the extra weight of hair once I first put it on. You might want to try it on a day before your event so that you don't feel any discomfort while out and about. Do not blow dry your extensions with too much heat because they will burn and your hair will smell! Use a low setting and keep the hair slightly damp if you want to curl it.
