Description of service

I am a full-time soccer player down here in North Carolina, I wanted to organize a small soccer tournament for the many different soccer clubs that play around Raleigh and so I thought of having a really formal invitation with a sharp look to it, so I decided to go to a friend of mine who teaches at a local school and knows about printing graphics and about the many types of printing presses used and their looks. He showed me the very different attributes of each printing machine and then he showed me the letterpress style and it deffinately got my attention. If it's a big job they will use an automated letterpress to make the process go quicker but for me they used a hand-fed press because it didn't involve as much copies of what I wanted to get done. I payed a total of 53 dollars because the guy that did my letterpress was my friend and he also told me that compared to the other types of printing, letterpress is the most usual one which makes it cheaper, but that it was also somewhat challenging since it took a little bit of work so it would cost me a little bit more than just printing it on a copier or something of that sort. The ink was on the house so I didn't get charged for that, if I had it would've probably been like around 7 dollars more because of the ink it woul've taken up to make my invitations.

Review of Service

The service was really good. I think like I got a really good deal because somewhere else they would've tried to make everything more professional and they would've charged a lot more considerint the type of printing done. Personally I liked the service and my order came out just the way I wanted it to be.

Tips

Try and go to high schools and colleges that offer printing graphics courses, usually they will have a teacher that has worked in the printing business a long time and I bet he will be more than happy to get your order done, not just in letterpress but in other services he has available for you! Other than that you could compare prices between competitors and ask them for a better deal than the other competitor, I guaranteee you this will work
