The simple fact that it's a smaller group of people allows for more one on one time with the instructor who cvan see what it is you're doing wrong or right, and help add or take away from that behavior.

In a word AMAZING. Once you get past the fact that it is in fact a smaller group like setting so there is a little more attention focused on you and your form, you realize the benefits to be had from the one on one time. In a larger class, it is nearly impossible for the instructor to truly see what you are doing on an individual basis, which if you are not following the instruction to a T, then you are not really getting out of it what you're paying for. Here, in this small type setting, what you put in is what you get out, and you actually do begin to acheive results that you maybe didn't see or feel before. I quickly learned that in certain areas, I was really lacking, i just wasn't fully grasping what it is I was supposed to be doing in order to acheive the goals I was setting, and in turn I was getting frustrated and on the verge of quitting. With this smaller session, I was able to put the missing pieces of the puzzle together and make the most out of my workout. I feel totally refreshed!!!!

Do some shopping around and find a gym that offers a smaller, more intimate class setting. Also, ask if they have first time joiner rates, some gym's will offer you a deal on the classes if you agree to take more than one, even if you don't sign up for a full membership. Check the web for local groups that meet cloe to where you live, chances are that you can find a trainer who does pilates on the side out of their home or neighborhood gym for a lot less than what you pay elsewhere. And also in that case you'll know that you are getting actual hands on training time to help ensure that you acheive your personal goals!
