the Cost of Jeep Repair

My vehicle was in need of a full brake job. I contacted one of the largest brake repair shops and drop my vehicle off for service.

I needed a complete brake repair. I contact one of the large, national brake repair companies. My front, driver side wheel was wobbly and not steady. After jacking up the vehicle I noticed that i could actually physically move the wheel from side to side. Not good. Since I was unable to drive it in that condition, I have the vehicle towed to a large brake repair outlet. After their diagnosis they stated that I needed a complete system rework. New brakes, rotors and new brake hubs for both the front and the back brakes on the vehicle.

The repair took one day to complete. The cost was more expensive than the usual $99.00 per wheel. There was the cost of the rotors and the hubs and the additional labor. They repaired the vehicle to my satisfaction and the repair time was normal. After picking up the vehicle the wheel was no longer moving freely from side to side and was functioning properly.

Check around. A full brake repair comes at considerable cost. Look to the national retailers since their volume is higher and typically their cost is lower than some smaller outlets.
