Description of service

Last January I thought of learning Judo and approached a famous judo instructor who agreed to teach me the martial art. He agreed to teach me judo and demonstrated a few joint locks and strikes which impressed me and I decided to learn the Japanese martial art. There where 4 classes a week for 2 hours and the charge for the classes was $ 75 per month. The amount includes tax as well, which was charged at 4%. The judo classes where very good and instructive and the instructor was experienced and well versed in judo. His instructions and the way of teaching where very clear and it was very easy to follow them. There are enough space in the room where we had our lessons hence we had a lot of space to practice our shots. There where also a lot of students hence we could practice our shots live with them. They also provided us Judogi for which we had to pay an extra amount of $ 25. There are also various packages like a six months course and 4 months course. The long term course charged $ 350 and $ 200 respectively. The one month course teaches the basics that we can use for self defense. To become experts the long term courses will help you.

Review of Service

I am very much fascinated with martial arts and I always fancied learning martial arts when I was a child, only recently about five months back I got the chance to learn judo when I decided to join Judo lessons near my town at New York. When I inquired about the classes available, I found out that there was a famous and experienced judo instructor a short distance from my home. When I approached the Training center I liked the settings and facilities and hence decided to join the classes, the rates where also reasonable as compared to other training centers. The center was spacious and had three classes and three well trained instructors to teach us. We where well taught and live fights where conducted to find out our ability and how well we where doing the shots. They give individual attention to those who had difficulty learning the shots and were weak defending their opponents. I feel that the classes where worth the amount I have spend and I am full satisfied with the classes. I did not find any thing wrong with the services and the classes are really good and instructive for a beginner like me. They explained to us the origin of judo the basic knowledge and information associated with judo in addition to the shots and strikes which I think need to be appreciated a lot.

Tips

Before deciding to choose to enroll for judo lessons make sure that the instructors are experienced and well trained also try to make sure that the training center is spacious and well ventilated as closed rooms and lack of ventilation would lead to suffocation and exhaustion and you would feel very tired and fed up of the classes. Make sure that the instructors demonstrate the shots clearly and that you are satisfied with it. Before joining the classes ask them for a demonstration of the way they would teach you, from which you can make out the quality of training that they can provide you. Ask them whether you would be given individual attention if you find the shots difficult to follow. You can do a little bit of research about the training centers to the people who have got training from the same institute. Join the classes according to intention of learning; if you require more advanced learning then it is better to join for long term lessons as they would cost you less. If you want to learn only the basics then it is better to go for short or one month class. Also do not forget to enquire about the charges including taxes and finally decide what is best for you.
