Description of service

My passenger side window was shattered and had to be completely replaced. It is one of those windows that doesn't have the metal rim around the edge and is automatic and has a tinted glass.

Review of Service

Though I think the price is hefty, you can't drive without a window (for long, especially with winter coming in Wisconsin), so it had to be done. We went with the largest, most popular place in the city and they came out to my work and did the repair while I was inside. I never even knew they had been there, except by the time I was finished with work they had finished their work, too (and that pesky bill).

Tips

Try shopping around. We went with the place that is most well known and had a snappy jingle and nice, brand new shop in a prime location and shiny new trucks and nice uniforms. Though they did a perfect job, you might be able to get someone from a smaller business (and one that needs the business more than the franchise place!) for a lot less money and who will do just as good a job, if not better because they have a smaller, more personal client base.
