Description of service

I paid a company to design my sprinkler system and landscaping for my yard. I then did the work myself, using the plans they created.

Review of Service

In my situation the service was just what I wanted. I saved money by only having the designing company create the design for me and list the parts I would need. I then had those parts delivered and put it all together myself.

Tips

One huge thing that the company I used offered, was the offer to apply the cost of the yard design toward the purchase of my sprinkler system parts if I bought the parts from them. I would highly suggest looking for that kind of offer when you get your yard design and supplies list put together.

I would also suggest doing the assembly of the sprinkler system yourself. It saves you a lot of money in labor. Pay someone to come dig the trenches in your yard, according to the landscaping plan you've had made, and then have the sprinkler parts delivered. At that point it is pretty simple to glue the pipes together, lay them into the trenches, attach the sprinkler heads, and the cover it all up. Defiantly not worth paying someone hundreds of dollars to do for you.
