the Price of Tooth Bonding

The service I paid for was to have cosmetic bonding for three of my daughter's front teeth. She fell and chipped three of her front teeth and needed bonding. Her effected three teeth had to be ground down and smoothed out a little, before the bonding material could be applied. The bonding material was color matched, so it looked like her existing teeth. After the bonding material was applied, her teeth were polished so they were smooth.

The service my daughter received was very professional. Her accident occurred after business hours and the dentist saw her first thing in the morning. The staff was great and the procedure itself for the three teeth was painless.

Fortunately, for us, we knew our dentist and had an established relationship with her and the office. We knew ahead of time that her work was excellent and we could depend on her to do a fantastic job. If we did not have a regular dentist, I would be hesitant in just picking anyone to do the work, because it is somewhat cosmetic, being my daughter's front teeth and all. We are also fortunate to live in an area where there are some dental schools. If we didn't have a regular dentist, I am sure I would have called one of our local dental schools for a referral.
