Description of service
A few months ago I had really long, curly hair. I was really going through a state of change, and wanted to experience something new. So I took my long hair to the salon and requested someone who could give me dreadlocks. I went to the local salon and asked them how much this kind of service would take. They said it depended on my hair and the stylist. So my stylist was very good, experienced, and pleasant. I sat and she dreaded my hair. This hurt a little, and I lost a lot of hair. The service took about two hours, but I came out with great hair.
Review of Service
The salon I went to was very nice. My hair was clean, not the typical condition of the average person with dreadlocks. I am sure this helped. The salon did not offer this kind of service, but we negotiated a price and they fulfilled my specific, non salon like, requests.
Tips
I would like to tell anyone out there who is thinking about dreads to make sure their hair is clean. If they go to a salon. I brought the products I wanted used for my dreads, because salons usually will not have them. The products require clean hair to work properly.
