the Price of Dental Veneers

I received a ceramic veneer on my front tooth after I broke it. The chip was pretty bad and I needed a dentist right away.

I did not have the opportunity to go to my family dentist because I needed the appointment as soon as possible and couldn't wait the 2 weeks it would take to schedule an appointment in his busy office. I had to go through the phone book ans just start calling random dentists. I took a gamble and went to a dentist I was not familiar with to have this procedure done. It was a little bit painful and took several trips, but the outcome was great. My tooth was fixed and he matched the color of my other teeth perfectly. The only problem is, I would like to bleach my teeth, but can not because the veneer will not dye like the rest of my teeth, which is a bummer.

This is a very expensive procedure that is strictly cosmetic and was not covered by insurance although I felt it was necessary because my tooth had a chip in it and looked really ugly. I don't regret having it done but I hate that I can never bleach my teeth now.
